The Little Man

I was going through my picture files on the computer and realized I hadn't taken very many pictures of our little guy lately...so I gave Ry the camera and told her to have at it. Zane is growing like a weed...and I swear most of his weight is in those cheeks! We sure do love this little buddy of ours!

Riley's Butterfly

A few weeks ago Riley's cousin, Ben, spotted a caterpillar on a leaf while we were all taking a walk around the neighborhood. Ry is really into bugs and Ben nicely agreed to let her put the caterpillar in her bug trap. Riley gave the caterpillar a few leaves and some water and then we kind of forgot about it for a few days. When Riley went back to check on it she found a cocoon. Pretty exciting, right? We waited and watched, and waited and watched...after about two weeks Ry finally found what she had been waiting for. The caterpillar had turned into a butterfly!

So cool...

Bailey's First Day of Preschool

This past Tuesday was Bailey's first day of preschool. She is in my preschool class this year, and I have been a little worried about how it would work out having Mom as the teacher. Though it has only been two days, it seems to be working fine. I will say, however, that Bailey is the chattiest kid in the class. This will not come as a surprise to anyone who knows this cute kid of mine...

Riley's Baptism Day

Saturday Riley was baptized. She had been waiting for this day for months! We had a lot of family come into town for the weekend...Grandma and Grandpa Bluth and Avie came from the ranch, Cory sister and her family came from Colorado, and Aunt Debbie came from Arizona. I know Ry was happy to have so much support from family on her big day.

A few weeks before Riley's baptism we went to Temple Square to have my sister take some pictures of her in her baptism dress. I think we got some really cute pictures!

Zane - 4 months old

Zane is 4 Months!

I am SO GLAD the first three months of Zane's life is in the books! He just turned four months old and life is so much easier (for me, anyways!). Zane is slowly getting himself into a routine, and is sleeping SO much better! He just had his four-month check up and his doctor said with how big he is, there is no reason for him to need to eat for at least 10 hours at night. YES! I just hope Zane was paying attention when the doctor was saying that!

4-Month Stats:

Weight: 16.13 lbs - 80th percent. (most of his weight is in his cheeks, I think).

Height: 26 1/2" - 85th percent.

We have a big, handsome, healthy boy on our hands!
