When Riley was in the hospital last April with her seizures, Cory promised her a trip to Disneyland once she got better. Riley doesn't remember nearly anything about the week she spent in the hospital except for that promise. So last Sunday we packed up and headed to Disneyland. I talked my sister into keeping Zane for the four days we were going to be gone...so it was just Cory, me, and the girls (and our good friends, the Proctors...they went too!). The first day we were there we went to California Adventure. The day didn't start so good...it was pouring, windy, and FREEZING! And to top it off, the second we got into the park the front wheel of my stroller fell off. Awesome. Cory tried to fix it inside one of the little shops at the park...with no tools he had no luck...but he did lose his wedding ring while trying to jimmy-rig the stroller. Awesome. Thankfully the day got better. It never stopped raining but on the plus side, the park was nearly empty due to the weather - so no waiting in line! The big kids had a blast on the big roller coaster and on the Tower of Terror, and everyone loved the Toy Story ride. Even though it was a VERY soggy day, we had fun!
So glad we found a Target that had kids raincoats. They saved my kids from getting completely soaked!

Bailey loved the carousel. The little kids rode it over and over again while the big kids were on the big kid rides.

Jeana and Jamison in front, and the heads of Braelyn and Riley on the California Screamin' roller coaster.

Cory and Spencer on California Screamin'

I was watching the take-off with the little kids...
We did see Mickey before we headed home for the day (bad quality of pictures...I only used my cell phone camera because of the rain!)
The second day we were there we went to Disneyland. Thankfully the weather was MUCH better and we didn't even need to wear rain gear! We did nearly every ride in the park, and Bailey got to see the princesses. What more could you ask for??
Braelyn, Riley and Jamison on Splash Mountain...one of their favorites!

The girls found Pluto...and he had grown antlers!

Bailey got to talk to Mrs. Claus...she was kind of nervous but when Mrs. Claus promised that the elves were busy making toys at the N. Pole, she warmed right off.

These three kids spent a lot of time together...they hung out while the bigger kids/moms and dads did the big people ride.
The girls with Cinderella. One of Bailey's favorite things! She LOVES princesses!

Colsen and Bailey got to be pretty good buddies...here they are on Small World.

Jamison, Riley, and Braelyn
Riley on the Dumbo ride.

Bailey had been waiting to go on Dumbo with her dad.

I wish I would have gotten to take more pictures, but the weather really just didn't allow for that....kind of a bummer. We had a great time but sure were glad to see our little man when we got home!
